VMWare Horizon / Windows administrator

We are looking for a senior VMware (Horizon) / Windows administrator. A person to join our Windows system management team in the areas of VMWare, VMWare Horizon and Microsoft.

The reason is the large number of projects, which means that we have to shift some work internally and reinforcement is required. The person we are looking for will primarily manage the VMWare (Horizon) environment. In addition, it is expected that the VDI environment will be expanded in the future, so that more people and teams will work via this environment.

Knowledge and experience:

• HBO diploma, or at least proven HBO work level;
• Knowledge of and experience with complex infrastructure environments;
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Systems Center 2019 (and earlier);
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Powershell;
• Knowledge in the field of packaging applications for Intune and SCCM task sequences;
• General knowledge of Infra Architecture, Virtualization, Storage, networking, backup, security and antivirus solutions;
• Knowledge of Active directory, DNS, DFS and DHCP;
• Oral and written command of the Dutch language;
• Command of the English language.

Certification:

• VMware certifications, such as vSphere and/or Horizon;
• Extensive experience and certifications in the field of Microsoft operating systems;
• Certification MCTS: Administering and Deploying System Center Configuration Manager.

In principle, this concerns a secondment assignment, but it is also possible to enter into permanent employment with our client. We are very flexible in that regard.
